Dr. Hamid has over 35 years of experience in Automotive CAE, Corporate LS-DYNA training, Biomechanics and Academic research, Commercial FE code development. His areas of expertise include Crashworthiness and Occupant Protection evaluation of automotive structures and safety restraint systems ...including Battery Pack Crashworthiness design evaluation as per FMVSS 201,208, 214, 301, etc.He has extensive experience of working with major Automotive OEMs and suppliers worldwide such as Chrysler, Delphi, GM, EASi, BHEL etc.

Well-respected in the industry, Dr. Hamid has conducted LS-DYNA training courses for Delphi and EASi engineers. He was also associated with Lawrence Tech, MI, USA to teach CAE and CAD courses. Dr. Hamid received his Ph.D. in Biomechanical Engineering and M.Tech in Engineering Mechanics from IIT Madras, India, and has 49 technical publications.
